Holding an event in Westminster

The City of Westminster is home to some of the most iconic event locations in the world.

24 June to 22 July: restriction on new application requests

Due to the number of events and filming activities taking place in Westminster during this period, we will not be accepting any further applications for this period. This is to support our commitment to providing a professional service to our current applicants, as well as managing the impacts to the city.

If you wish to hold an event or carry out filming from 22 July onwards, please do make an application in the normal way.

Our normal timescales will apply for short turnaround applications, prior to 24 June and restarting from 22 July.

Our streets and open spaces are the first choice for thousands of outdoor events, parades and brand activations every year.

If you are planning an outdoor event in Westminster, you need to apply for permission so we can help you to make sure it is safe and successful.

We welcome applications for events that showcase Westminster as a thriving cultural hub, support communities and the local economy and celebrate and promote diversity and inclusion.
