Torridon infill – proposal for development

Torridon Car Park

Emerging proposal for development

Torridon Car Park is located on Andover Place, opposite Torridon House and bordering Naima Preparatory school to the north. With excellent transport links, nearby schools and green spaces, it’s a great area for families to call home.

As part of our infills programme we are working towards building more affordable homes in Westminster by better utilising existing land in the area. At Torridon Car Park we want to build new affordable homes where a car park and sheds are currently located whilst still re-providing some of the existing car parking spaces and sheds.

We have consulted extensively with the community around Torridon Car Park, and since our first drop-in session in May 2019 we have made a number of changes to the proposal. These were presented at our drop-in sessions in September 2019. If you could not make it to one of the drop-in sessions, you can view our updated proposals at the link below:

Next steps

We are currently reviewing the feedback from the second round of drop-in sessions in September 2019. We are also consulting with secure tenants in the area as part of our duties under Section 105 of the Housing Act 1985.

If you would like to provide further feedback, you can contact us at torridon@westminster.gov.uk with any questions or comments.

We are aiming to submit a planning application in Autumn 2019, so be sure to get any comments to us soon.
