Evidence and monitoring

Find out about the evidence that underpins our policies and how we monitor them.

Authority Monitoring Reports

The council regularly publishes Authority Monitoring Reports (AMRs). They monitor and assess current planning policy, whether objectives have been achieved, and whether these objectives are still relevant.

The reports set out the council’s findings during its monitoring of development in the city. They also give an update on council activities such as plan development, progress on the Local Development Scheme, Neighbourhood Planning and meeting the duty to co-operate.
