Viability evidence
To support the preparation of the Planning Obligations and Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document (2024) and Affordable Workspace Informal Planning Guidance Note (February 2024), the council reviewed its Development Plan viability evidence and updated the City Plan Viability Report (June 2019). Viability is a key consideration when preparing planning policies and guidance. It helps the council ensure that its policies and guidance do not make development unviable in Westminster. Viability testing is carried out by independent consultants.
