Mozart Estate refurbishment works - Phase 1 (Project T156)

We held an introductory meeting for residents on 14 September 2022.

We experienced a slight delay in progressing our plans following our initial meeting due to the need to review our budget in light of current inflation rates.  Our Asset Strategy team have now completed a client brief document which outlines the planned works to all blocks. A copy of this client brief, is available to view in the document section of this page.

What happens next?

The client brief has been passed to our major works contractor, Axis Europe, to start planning the works in more detail. To assist their planning for the works, Axis carried out drone surveys in April to take photos of the condition of the roofs and brick work across the 19 blocks. Axis have now completed their initial planning for the works and this document is called a Project Execution Plan. A copy of this document is also available to view in the document section of this page.

Axis are now carrying out further surveys of the blocks to assess the condition of the windows and balcony areas. Further surveys will take place throughout July.  Once Axis have completed their detailed planning for the works, we will hold another update meeting for residents. We expect this to be in September.
