Advertising

We offer advertising space in our resident magazine, Your Westminster, which is posted to 120,000 households four times a year.

Advertising space is also available in Westminster Plus magazine, posted to 30,000 people aged 65 and over three times a year.

Banners, bunting and street dressing

If you want to attach anything to lampposts or any other street furniture, please let us know so we can agree permission. Planning permission or advertising consent may be needed. Please note:

• street decorations must not block CCTV cameras or emergency access
• it should be at least 5.2 metres above the road and at least 2.6 metres over the footpath
• we will need a 24-hour telephone number and contact name so that your contractor can be contacted in an emergency
• if you need to use power for illuminated decorations, please let us know
• you will need a crane or aerial platform licence if you need equipment to install your dressing and can apply as part of your event application

Charity collections

If you are collecting money, you will need a Street Collection Licence from the Metropolitan Police.

Eros digital media advertising

The Eros statue at Piccadilly Circus is available for digital media advertising from November to January. This opportunity is visible to over 115,000 daily users of Piccadilly Circus Underground station and visible to one million motorists every fortnight.

Product sampling

We support product sampling in our parks and open spaces. Please contact us if you are interested in sampling in other locations within the city.

Street trading

You will need a street trading licence to trade in a Westminster market.

We do not support street trading outside of our markets or events except on isolated pitches.

West End LIVE sponsorship

West End LIVE showcases live performances from top West End musicals in Trafalgar Square every summer.

The event attracts up to 50,000 visitors from across the UK and beyond. After 16 years of show stopping performances, West End LIVE is the largest free event of its kind in the world, offering over 50 free performances from long running favourites to the latest shows.

The event is presented by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre.
