Your new residents’ magazine is out now
Welcome to YourWestminster – the residents’ magazine from Westminster City Council. We bring you stories from your city, your local areas and your communities. It's a celebration of all things Westminster.
Our winter edition brings you the best of what’s happening in the city this Christmas and throughout the colder months. From a star-studded Leicester Square to free events in and around your local neighbourhood, there’s festive spirit and support available to everyone this winter.
We also explore the Hidden Gems of Marylebone, spend time with our fabulous Night Stars and revel in the Active Westminster Awards.
Winter in Westminster
This festive season, there is so much to celebrate in Westminster. Join us in taking part in Christmas in Westminster, whether you are celebrating with your local community or going green, there are a variety of free community and cultural activities for residents to enjoy. All taking place in warm and safe locations around the city.
Oh What A Night
Westminster’s community sporting superstars gathered at Porchester Hall to celebrate this year’s Active Westminster Awards. It was an evening full of excitement, emotion and fun as we recognised those who change lives by contributing to physical activity, leisure and sport.
Hidden Gems
In this edition we bring you a guide to the hidden gems in and around Marylebone. We travel along one of London’s oldest Roman roads and discover village communities, ancient history and the birthplace of a medical milestone.
Westminster residents will be receiving printed copies of YourWestminster through the post. You can also find copies at local community centres, libraries, leisure centres and council offices.
