Library members have free access to eBooks, eMagazines, eNewspapers, eAudiobooks, eComics and eScores.

eBooks, eComics and eScores

Library members can borrow eBooks, eComics and eScores for free. You will be able to read the eBooks, eComics and eScores via an app on your computer, tablet, phone or eReader.

Using cloudLibrary

Browse, borrow and return eBooks, eComics and eScores via the CloudLibrary in a browser: 

  1. Log in using your library card and agreeing to the terms.
  2. Browse the catalogue and click on a book. When you press 'Borrow' you can download the app for your device.
  3. You can view all loans in the My Books section.
  4. ​If you have an eReader, use the PC App to load the eBook through a USB connection (see the app support tab for detailed instructions).

CloudLibrary has over 200 bestselling comic book compilations featuring Classic Marvel characters as Captain America, Captain Marvel, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Deadpool, Black Widow, Daredevil, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, and Jessica Jones that readers know and love from both the printed page and the big and small screens. There’s a huge variety of titles including such classics as Daredevil by Miller. 

CloudLibrary now has a collection of printed music which includes Eulenburg full scores of Mozart’s and Beethoven’s symphonies and piano concertos, Chopin’s piano music and a great variety of opera scores.

You can borrow up to 8 titles for 14 days.

You can also reserve 3 more. When these become available, they will be kept for 3 days.

Whilst you can browse for books online, you will need the dedicated app to download and read them.

You will not be able to download eBooks using a Westminster library computer or any Kindle product except for the Kindle Fire (read Kindle Fire instructions). The Kindle Fire app will not notify you of system updates. To get the latest version, uninstall and reinstall the app on your Kindle Fire.
