St Peter's Eaton Square Primary School: Lower Belgrave Street School Street

Tackling congestion to improve the environment for everyone walking and cycling around St Peter's Eaton Square Primary School.

About this School Street

The School Street provides a Pedestrian and Cycle Zone along Lower Belgrave Street between its junction with Ebury Street and Buckingham Palace Road.

Motor vehicle volumes will therefore be reduced between:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am to 9:30am and 3pm to 4pm
  • during term-time only

To inform drivers of the restrictions, advanced warning signs have also been installed as part of the scheme at the junction of Ebury Street with Lower Belgrave Street.

CCTV Enforcement

To further support School Streets, Westminster is planning the installation of CCTV Enforcement cameras at this location.

Residents within the School Street area will have retained vehicular access during the times of operation, along with:

  • Blue Badge Holders,
  • White Badge Holders and
  • Emergency services vehicles.

Updated plans of where CCTV will be placed and ‘Frequently Asked Questions - CCTV Enforcement’ will be available in due course.

Any queries can still be emailed to [email protected].
