Planning committees meetings and reports

Find out about planning committee meetings, see agendas and find out how to watch or speak at a committee meeting.

Written representations

All written representations received before the publication of the committee report will be circulated to the sub-committee in advance of the committee meeting. The representations will be summarised, and the committee report will consider their planning merits.

Members of the public and interested parties may still submit written representations following the publication of the committee report. The case officer must receive these representations by no later than 2pm on the working day before the committee meeting.

Representations received after this deadline will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances where the sub-committee chair is satisfied that the representation raises new material planning considerations that have not been raised in other representations before the committee.

Further details of when and how representations received after the publication of the committee report will be circulated to the sub-committee are set out in the Planning Application Sub-Committee Procedure Rules.
