Booking a pitch

Booking a casual trading pitch must now be made online.

You must have a valid casual registration to be able to book a pitch. 

All casual trading pitches must be booked online and paid for in advance. Online pitch bookings can now be made up to six days before the required trading day and at the latest 10am on the day that you wish to trade. 

Saturday pitches on Church Street market become available on the Monday before the trading day.

If you decide not to trade once the licence has been issued, you can surrender the licence, but the application fee will be non-transferable and non-refundable.

Once a pitch has been booked and paid for, a receipt for payment and a temporary licence will be emailed to you. The licence must be produced on the day of trading with the casual ID plate. A valid insurance certificate must also be available to view.

Any trader who cannot produce their casual trader ID plate or temporary licence will be asked to stop trading.
