Notting Hill Carnival

Notting Hill Carnival returns on 25 – 26 August 2019 and we are putting measures in place to ensure our housing residents can enjoy the festivities and stay safe.

• You can view the information leaflet here (opens new window), which contains details on the event line up, road closures, safety advice, helplines and more
• Visit the Notting Hill Carnival information website for further info (opens new window)
• You can also view full parking details here (opens new window).

Security will be provided for Brunel and Wessex Gardens estates, Great Western Road, Fallodon House, St. Luke’s House, Leamington House, Westbury House, Aldridge Court, Artesian House, and Westbourne Park during the Carnival. Estates will be fenced off and security guards will be posted at entrance points.

We ask that all residents carry and show proof of residency when entering these areas. Photo ID or a utility bill, which must show your address, will enable you to gain access. This is to ensure that only authorised people can access the estate or block.

Please also note that no vehicles can enter or exit these estates between 6am - 10pm on Sunday 26 August - Monday 27 August 2019. Chepstow Road and Westbourne Park Road entrance to Brunel will be closed throughout and only accessible to emergency vehicles.

We have put these security measures in place because the safety of our residents is our highest priority. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0800 358 3783 (freephone) or housing.enquiries@westminster.gov.uk
