Climate Action Community Open Days
On 13 November we held our first Climate Action community event, where residents and local organisations could share ideas on how to be more sustainable. It was great to see so many people there, learning about everything from food sharing, to making homes more energy efficient, cycle training, community action and much more.
We’ll be organising more of these community open days in the New Year. Keep an eye on this webpage for details or sign up to our environment newsletter.

Open Forum – how we’ll tackle climate change together
New date: Thursday 27 January 2022, online and limited in-person, 6:30pm to 8pm
Join us at our next Open Forum, where our theme will be ‘a greener and cleaner Westminster’. Have your questions answered, and hear from the Leader of the Council, cabinet members and senior officers about how we’ll tackle climate change together.
This Open Forum will take place both online and in-person and we are focusing a large part of the discussion on the theme of a greener and cleaner Westminster. We are keen to discuss our work to address the climate emergency, air quality, recycling, and other environmental issues that affect your life in Westminster.
