The second of four mixed media workshops, where residents will work together to create a community collage using upcycled materials. The theme for the canvases is ‘The Four seasons,’ with this workshop focusing on Summer. Participants will be given an area of the canvas to work on and instruction on suitable techniques. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring along anything you feel may be suitable to upcycle.

Take pride in living in the heart of the city at the third #MyWestminster Day on Sunday 30 June 2019. This free community day is hosted by Cllr Nickie Aiken, Leader of the Council to bring people together to celebrate the diversity of neighbourhoods across Westminster. The Recycling Team will be on hand to answer your questions and give out free recycling bags. Join us for a fun day of free family activities, food, live music, dancing, arts and crafts and sports.

This is a fun and free two hour workshop where you will learn how to make a difference to the planet and your local community. Discover what others are doing to reduce their food waste, pick up handy hints and tips and take home a toolkit for change. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Drop off your items 11.30am to 1.30pm, pick up new things from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Have a clear out and bag yourself something new without spending a penny! You must bring at least one good quality item. You will receive a token per item donated, you can claim an item by exchanging the token. Pierced jewellery, nightwear, swimwear, bathrobes, bedding and underwear, socks, poor quality or soiled items will not be accepted. Electrical Items will be PAT tested on the day. Any items not re-homed will be recycled.
