Recycling Information Stand​ - SouthWest Fest

Sat 30 June 2018, 12pm - 6pm. St Georges Square, Pimlico, SW1V 2HX

The Recycling Team will be holding a stand in the 'Health Zone.' We will have recycling bags and information to give out to residents on the day. Come and have a go at our recycling basketball game for the chance to win a prize.

Come and meet the Recycling Team at this popular family community event. We will have fun recycling games, as well as recycling bags and information for residents.

Paper Jewellery Making - Pimlico Library

Come and get creative! Up-cycle paper into beautiful jewellery. All materials provided but feel free to bring your own. Email recycling.champions@westminster.gov.uk to book your place!

Paper Flower Making Workshop - Paddington Library

A fun a free workshop where you will learn how to make paper pompoms and flowers. Materials provided but feel free to bring along your own magazines and newspapers to upcycle. Email recycling.champions@westminster.gov.uk to book your place! Children aged 10+ are welcome, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Munch and the Funny Tummy - Church Street Library

Tuesday 7 Aug 2018, 2pm - 3.30pm. Church Street Library, 67 Church St, Marylebone, London NW8 8EU

Based in the fictional town of Greentown, the book ‘Munch and the Funny Tummy’ is about Ricky and Rachel and their recycling truck called Munch. The story teaches children about the importance of recycling and is suitable for 5-7 year olds. Come and hear the story, learn about recycling and meet Munch the Recycling Truck. Please email: recycling.champions@westminster.gov.uk to book your child’s free place. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Glass Jar Upcycling Workshop - Paddington Library

Give and Take - Paddington Library

Sat 20 Oct 2018, 10.30am - 2pm. Paddington Library, 45 Porchester Road, W2 5DU

Have a clear out and bag yourself something new without spending a penny! Drop off your items 10.30am-12pm, pick up new things from 1pm. You must bring at least one good quality item. You will receive a token per item donated, you canclaim an item by exchanging the token. Pierced jewellery, nightwear, swimwear, bathrobes, bedding and underwear including socks will not be accepted. Electrical Items will be PAT tested on the day. Any items not re-homed will be recycled.
