Planning committee meetings are held in a hybrid format consisting of a public meeting held at Westminster City Hall at which core participants (committee members and principal officers responsible for the management and operation of the meeting) are in attendance, with other participants (presenting officers, persons wishing to make representations to the committee and those persons wishing to listen to and observe the meeting) able to do so either in person or remotely.

Given the current requirement to adhere to social distancing measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 you are requested to avoid in person attendance at sub-committee meetings where this can reasonably be avoided.

Members of the public and interested parties are welcome to address the committee. All parties who have registered to speak at a committee and have been granted a speaking slot will be sent instructions on how to attend the meeting in person or virtually and make verbal submissions.

Our planning committees are split into four sub-committees which meet on a bi-weekly basis. The planning and city development committee meets only on strategic and policy matters.
