Your case will remain on hold until we have responded. If the discount period was applicable at the time you submitted your PCN challenge, the discount amount will still be offered to you if your representation is not successful.

Unless you are supplying additional information or evidence to support your representation, please refrain from writing again as this could delay our response.

If you feel a parking ticket (PCN) has been issued incorrectly, you can challenge it online. This is the quickest way to challenge your parking ticket.

We'll show you

  • photos of how your vehicle was parked or CCTV footage of your vehicle

It can take up to 24 hours from the time of issue for photos to appear online.

You’ll need

  • the 8 digit reference number at the top of the parking ticket - it begins with WE, WM or WS
  • your vehicle registration details

Challenge now

Alternatively a written challenge can be submitted by email or by post to City of Westminster Parking Services, PPO Box 351, Sheffield, S98 1TU. Please be sure to include the PCN number and your vehicle registration details.

Our consideration of PCN challenges is underpinned by several principles.

If a protected characteristic, listed in the Equality Act 2010, or another condition makes it difficult for you to challenge or pay your Penalty Charge Notice, we will be happy to consider what reasonable adjustments we can make to assist.

To request an adjustment please email: [email protected] or call our Parking Services Team on 0207 823 4567.

Make a general parking enquiry online. Please do not use the general parking enquiry form to challenge a PCN.

To find out why Parking Services needs to collect and store personal data, how this is used and your rights to access your information, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Westminster City Council will process your information primarily for the purpose of providing parking services to residents.
