Touching the void by Joe Simpson

Reading and Literacy Librarian Laurence Foe gives us an insight into Joe Simpson's book, 'Touching the Void'. 

A change of place, time, and pace is an account of a mountain climb that went wrong. Two Englishmen in the Andes who are experienced climbers have a terrible accident; one has to find their way back to base camp. 

This is a story of endurance against all the odds. He lives to tell the tale and goes on to write a book about his experience. 

It's a captivating read, a must on everyone's list.
