Licensing sub-committees: agendas, reports and decisions
Find information about our sub-committee and view their calendar
As the Licensing Authority, we have established licensing sub-committees, made up of three councillors each, which determine licensing applications, hold reviews of licensed premises and consider opposed temporary event notices.
Sub-committee hearings conform to the Rules of Procedure for licensing sub-committees and are public unless the matter being discussed is sensitive in nature and therefore requires the public to be excluded.
All public hearings are streamed and we invite applicants, responsible authorities and interested parties involved in an application to attend the hearing virtually.
Committee Calendar
Our online Committee Calendar lists all council committee and sub-committee hearings.
To view the agenda and reports for an application being heard at an upcoming licensing sub-committee hearing, search the Committee Calendar by date and click on the relevant hearing.
Please note that reports relating to applications within a hearing will not be available until a week prior to the hearing.
Decisions
Once we have determined an application, we will publish the decision on the relevant hearing page within the Committee Calendar. These can be viewed no earlier than 3 weeks after the hearing.
If you have any questions about an application, or any queries regarding a licensing sub-committee hearing or decision, please contact the Licensing Team by emailing: [email protected]
Rules of Procedure
Licensing sub-committees are governed by rules of conduct and are set out within the Rules of Procedure for licensing sub-committees.
