Project outline

A wide range of refurbishment works are being planned for John Aird Court.

Westminster's Asset Strategy Team have now finalised a Client Brief for estate which outlines the proposed scope of works as follows: 

  • New double glazed windows to all blocks 
  • Roof renewal (including new insulation) to blocks 1 - 115 and 127 – 165.
  • External repairs and redecoration
  • Drainage works to private balconies
  • Repair and cleaning of all rainwater goods
  • Communal area decorations, including new communal flooring
  • New cold water tanks
  • Fire safety works including new front doors to tenanted flats where required (leaseholder opt-in).
  • Installation of extractor fans to kitchens and bathrooms of tenanted flats (leasehold opt-in) 
  • Sustainability works including installation of PV (photovoltaic panels) to the roofs of each block

The works are expected to take place between 2024-25.
