Original consultation
We undertook engagement in 2022 to design our new victim-led strategy, which puts their voice, priorities and needs at the core of our approach to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Consultation description
We consulted on what residents wanted to see in our new ASB strategy.
We undertook engagement with:
- victims
- residents
- businesses
- former perpetrators
- different teams within the council
- the police,
- housing providers
- community organisations.
This engagement helped to shap the 5 pillars of our strategy:
- Prevention
- Early Engagement
- Supporting Victims
- Bringing Perpetrators to Justice
- Engaging the Community.
You said, we did
During the consultation, we received feedback from residents asking for, amongst other things, clarification on terminology, support for victims and early intervention.
