Mind Your Head is a series of engaging live online events from Charing Cross Library. Meet people who have been trying to keep practising the hobbies that they love under the restrictions on movement during the present pandemic. Hear how these activities have helped them to cope with the pressure on their physical and mental health during social isolation.
Due to health concerns, Renata had to self-isolate for an extended period during the present pandemic, which put a stop to her self-organised theatre group meetings. Not letting this defeat her, she found new ways to keep playing.
Renata Mair was born in Poland and studied music there. She worked as a professional cellist before she switched to piano teaching from home. Her theatre interest started in childhood but then lay dormant for decades until it resurfaced again a few years ago and she joined an acting class at Lewisham Adult Education Centre. She loves getting together with friends to share the delights of a good theatre play.
