Every property has been allocated one of eight bands according to its capital value as at 1 April 1991. This has been done by the Listing Officer for the Valuation Office Agency of HM Revenues and Customs. We do not decide the band of your property.
Find out how much Council Tax will cost each year for a property in Westminster by finding out the valuation band. The band of your property is also shown on the bill sent to you, just below where it says ‘Council Tax demand’.
Once you know the band you can then look up the cost against the band using the table below.
|Band||Westminster City Council||Greater London Authority||Total|
For the residents of Queen’s Park ward an additional precept is applied for the Queen’s Park Community Council, created in April 2014.
