Change4Life grants

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to support voluntary and community organisations in Westminster to deliver projects that improve and sustain children, young people and families’ wellbeing.

Organisations can apply for projects that meet current COVID-19 regulations and aim to promote one or more of the following key themes: physical activity, healthy eating and emotional health and wellbeing. Priority will be given to activities that reach children and families most at risk of inactivity and poor health.

Applications can be submitted any time before 5 March 2021, but early applications are advised. We will aim to inform you of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.

If you would like to discuss your idea before applying, please email [email protected]

Eligibility and criteria

To apply, your organisation must be eligible to legally receive funds from the local authority. You need to have a UK registered bank account and a proven track record of delivering services to children, young people and families in Westminster or elsewhere. We can only offer one grant per organisation.

Your organisation can re-apply for a grant in the same financial year provided that:

  • the evaluation of your previous grant was submitted;
  • the activity you are offering is different from the previous one or
  • the location you are offering the activity is different if you are applying for the same activity (for example you are offering dancing sessions in a different organisation or borough for example, Kensington and Chelsea)
