Befriending services

If you’re feeling lonely and finding it hard to keep in touch with people because of health problems or other circumstances, there is support available to help you get involved in the community.

There are various organisations in Westminster offering befriending services. Befriending means a volunteer befriender will visit you in your home or phone you for a chat on a regular basis.

For more information on befriending and organisations which offer befriending services in your area, visit People First.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer befriender to provide companionship and emotional support for lonely adults, visit Team Westminster.
