Where to park
You can park in the following bays at the specified times:
Parking bay | Time |
---|---|
Resident | 8am to 5.30pm |
Paid-for | 8.30am to 6.30pm |
Shared-use | 8.30am to 6.30pm |
Streets bordering two parking zones
If you want to park in a street which borders two zones, you need to identify which side of the road you want to park on and purchase a permit for the applicable zone.
Failure to park on the correct side of the road may result in a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
Displaying your trade parking permit
Your permit will be emailed to you. If you wish you can print it and display it in the windscreen of your vehicle, although this is not necessary.
Enforcement
A Marshal can check the validity of a trade parking permit by checking the details with their handheld devices.
A PCN may be issued if:
- it is not apparent to the Marshal that the vehicle/permit is being used by a tradesperson carrying out works or services to premises,
- or if the permit is being used in any location other than a resident, shared-use or paid-for parking bay in the zone for which the permit applies.
