Resident parking in neighbouring boroughs

Information on where you can park in neighbouring boroughs

New permits issued will be ‘virtual’ rather than paper-based from 1 April 2023.

If you have a resident parking permit for Westminster, Camden, Kensington and Chelsea, or Brent, you can park in resident bays in the boundary streets listed below, where reciprocal agreements apply. 

You can also park free in paid-for bays in these boundary streets without further charge, during the first and last hour of controls.

Camden boundary streets

  • Boundary Road NW8
  • Greville Place
  • Norfolk Road NW8
  • Queens Grove NW8
  • St Edmunds Terrace (between Avenue Road and Ormonde Terrace)
  • St Johns Wood Park NW8
  • Woronzow Road NW8

Kensington and Chelsea boundary streets

  • Bourne Street SW1
  • Chepstow Place W2
  • Chesham Street SW1
  • Chesham Place SW1 (part) from Chesham Street to junction with Pont Street
  • Cheval Place SW7 (part) between Rutland Street and Montpelier Street Cliveden Place SW1
  • Eaton Place SW1 (part) north from West Eaton Place
  • Eaton Terrace SW1 (part) from West Eaton Place to junction with Cliveden Place/Eaton Gate
  • Ennismore Garden Mews SW7 (part) from Princes Gate to Rutland Gate

There is no reciprocal agreement on Queen's Gate.

PCNs

Should you receive a PCN on a reciprocal street where your permit should allow you to park, please challenge your PCN with the relevant borough, including proof that you held a valid resident permit at that time. How to submit a challenge will be indicated on the PCN itself.
