London Heritage Quarter BID ballot - declaration of result

Congratulations to the London Heritage Quarter on the successful renewal of three of their Business Improvement District (BID) ballots for Northbank, Victoria Westminster and Whitehall BIDs, with Whitehall being a renewal and alteration ballot.

As part of the City Council's statutory duty, Westminster City Council were appointed to hold a ballot for the three BIDs.

On Friday, 3 March, it was announced that the BIDs had been successful in their ballots.

For the Northbank BID, 189 out of 200 votes, with the majority of the business ratepayers in the BID area who voted, voting in favour of the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value (98.3%) and numbers voting (94.5%).

For the Victoria Westminster BID, 48 out of 49 votes, with the majority of the business ratepayers in the BID area who voted, voting in favour of the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value (99.8%) and numbers voting (97.9%).

For the Whitehall BID, 26 out of 32 votes, with the majority of the business ratepayers in the BID area who voted, voting in favour of the proposal, both by aggregate rateable value (93%) and numbers voting (81.3%).

The BID ballots closed on 2 March 2023, and the BID ballot results were declared on 3 March 2023.
