Lukas's story

Lukas was supported into work, not once, but twice by WES Jobs and Training. He had been referred by The Connection at St Martins and faced several barriers into employment, including homelessness, lack of confidence, poor interview skills and inability to express his transferable skills. With the assistance of Nikki (an ERM at WES Jobs & Training), he was able to secure a job. However, he lost his job due to COVID-19. Nikki worked diligently and acquired a second opportunity and Lukas was once again successful. He now works as a ground maintenance operative at Continental Landscapes and both he and his employer are happy with the job match.

And he’s not alone, other clients have said the following;

"It was all new to me. I was trained for the interview, Ananda told me what to say and showed me how to answer interview questions and show my skillset to the interviewer." Jamie C

"Before I met with her, I had such low confidence. Michaella really listened to the challenges that I faced and found the perfect role and came up with different solutions for me to still work and look after my new-born baby." Francine Butler
