Harrow Road Nursery were welcomed into their new temporary home at Westbourne Green with a beautiful snowfall last month.
Staff lent a hand to our movers, helping to pack up toys, books, and furniture and move it all to the new space which is only a five-minute walk down the road.
We have worked closely with contractors FM Conway and architects Child Graddon Lewis to deliver the two-storey building and create a great temporary space that will serve the community throughout the construction at 300 Harrow Road.
The nursery staff from the London Early Years Foundation are excited about the temporary space and looking forward to seeing a new permanent home come to life at 300 Harrow Road.
The site at 300 Harrow Road will also deliver 112 new homes, 50% of which are affordable, a new community hall, enterprise space, café and improved landscaping next to Regent’s Canal.
With the staff and children all settled into their temporary home, Willmott Dixon Construction have been setting up at 300 Harrow Road and are beginning preparations before construction starts in Summer 2021.
