Discover Westminster

Discover the architecture and design that make Westminster great through self-guided walks. You can enjoy these during lunch, after work or on a weekend break in London.

A walk through Westminster is a walk through time; every corner holds a piece of history waiting to transport you to another age and each street holds a key to its own unique past.

Tell us about your walk. Send pictures and comments to our blog, to the Archives Centre or tag us on Instagram.

Treasure hunt in Westminster

Take your family and friends out to explore the historic sites of Covent Garden. You'll learn interesting and obscure facts about Seven Dials, the theatre district, the famous market and more with our free and exciting treasure hunt app, made by volunteers at Westminster City Archives using Huntzz.

Have fun by following the clues and collecting virtual coins as you discover this fascinating area.

To play, download the free Huntzz app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
