Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness week 2023

We want to put a real focus on how we make our communities feel safer and how we are working with our partners to raise awareness of what Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) is and how we tackle it.

About the awareness week

That is why we will be getting involved with this year’s Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness week, which will be taking place from 3 to 9 July 2023.

We are organising a week of activities and events with a particular focus on the ASB Case Review, a powerful tool for victims of ASB that only 6% of people know about. Some other events being organised include door knocking and walkabouts with your local councillors, weapon sweeps in hotspot locations across estates and community roadshows.

South

• Door knock and Walkabout with councillors and MP, Friday 7 July, 9.30am to 11.30am, Grosvenor estate
• Visit to Churchill Gardens with police, Friday 14 July, 2pm to 3.30pm, Churchill Gardens

North

• Joint weapon sweep on Lydford and Mozart estates with police, Housing and NC, Tuesday 4 July, 11am to 3pm

Central

• Weapon sweep with police, Cllrs and residents attending across Lisson Green, Wednesday 5 July, 11am
• Walkabout around Homer Row with SNT and NC, Wednesday 5 July, 11am

West

• Outdoor Community Road Show with the police, with a drop-in session for residents, police will have tent and some freebies, Friday 7 July, midday to 2pm, Wessex Gardens
