Apply for a key fob

Residents are provided with fobs up to the total number of bed spaces in their home. Additional or replacement fobs are provided at a cost of £15 each. Stolen fobs can only be replaced free of charge if a CAD number from a police report is provided.  

Please complete the form below and a member of the housing services team will contact you to take a payment and arrange a date for delivery or collection of your new fob.

Please note that new fobs can not be collected until you have been contacted by the housing services team.

If your property is managed by a tenant management organisation, then you will need to contact them directly for a replacement / new fob.

Fobs come in ten different colours and each fob has a unique reference number. Colours are issued in the following order to assist residents and staff in identifying which fobs have been issued to each household:

1. Black
2. Orange
3. Green
4. Yellow
5. Blue
6. Clear
7. White (non-resident lessee, where property is sublet)
8. Grey (contractors, registered/professional carers, lessee managing or letting agents, or similar. Not friends or family
9. Purple (WCC scheme manager/staff - issued by BMT only)
10. Red (WCC Staff only - issued by BMT only)
