About our air quality data monitoring tools

In building a Fairer Westminster, we believe it is important to make air quality data available as open and transparent as possible.

We are pleased to be able provide a set of online tools that allow you to view and analyse air quality data in Westminster from multiple sources.

You can currently view:

Before using our analytical tools:

1. Read our guide on the types of data sources we have available to us, the frequency and quality of capture and how they might be analysed and interpreted. Not all data sets are equal and may not be directly comparable.
2. Whilst we have commissioned or sponsored a number of the sites and sources, this does not apply to all. Therefore we are unfortunately not always able to directly resolve issues such as data availability or accuracy but will try to make those responsible aware.
3. Owing to commercial licence agreements, we are able to present certain data sources through our analytical tools but not always able to publish the data in its raw format.
4. We regularly review data availability, uploading historical data sets and new data sets where identified. If you need a data set that you think is available but is not currently on the online tool, or have any other questions about the tools, please contact us at [email protected].
