On 27 February 2017, Aziz Saiq, 16, from King Solomon Academy was announced as the new Youth MP, while Mohammed Awale, 17, also from King Solomon Academy, was announced as Deputy Youth MP.

Aziz and Mohammed will now act as the voice of young people of Westminster, for one year take part in the UK Youth Parliament and work directly with key decision makers in the council to help influence and shape local services for young people.
