Your estate priorities
  • improve management of the garden
  • to be informed of cleaning staff responsibilities and to be more involved in performance evaluations of cleaners
  • increase lighting across the estate
  • prevent anti-social behaviour (ASB) and drug dealing

Status: ASB case manager is holding an ASB related meeting on 24 March 2022. Will be held each month thereafter and reviewed after three meetings. The first meeting is held online and future meetings will be in person

Residents from GRRA held a walkabout with housing team members in April 2020 to identify areas on the estate were lighting was poor. All broken lights were repaired, and some areas that required improvements were identified. 
Areas that required more lighting, such as Rogers House service road were not possible due to there being no electricity supply available for new installations. Requests for more lighting to the entrances to 5 blocks were made but installations were not possible due to physical restrictions to fitting lights in those locations. So, modifications to the main doors which would allow light through into the dark entrance areas are being considered. This is delayed as it requires planning consent.      		 May 2020

Gardening
The Gardening contractor carried out a walk about with Gardening representative from GRRA. He provided the schedule of tasks in the contract and agreed priorities. 
Community Gardening involving Urban Growth has been agreed with residents and we are seeking quotes to provide a series of community gardening sessions involving Urban Growth and residents.

ASB
The Residents Association meetings have not been taking place due to the Pandemic, so the ASB team have been unable to attend. 

Housing Services and the ASB team have been working closely with the police supporting them to successfully arrest a drug dealer on the estate. 

Criminal Protection Notices are being worked on to deal with two cases of low-level drug taking on the estate to protect residents.

40 ASB cases were investigated by the ASB team since March 2020 and there are currently 6 that remain open and are still being investigated by the team.

There is existing CCTV across Grosvenor and Regency estates in all blocks. This is on a Videcon system.
