We understand that the coronavirus outbreak brings new challenges for everyone and that the advice to stay at home may cause anxiety if someone at home is harming you or making you feel afraid in any way. If you are worried it is very important to remember that support is available for you.
The Angelou Support Service is here to help anyone experiencing domestic abuse throughout the pandemic. You can call them on 020 8741 7008 Mon-Fri, 10am – 6pm. If you are in immediate danger, you should contact the police. You can dial 999 and then press 55 and remain silent. The police will know you are in danger and cannot speak.
