Take steps to prevent fire this summer

We all love to spend our summer evenings relaxing with friends and family and eating good food. However, it’s important to remember to take some precautions to ensure your safety and that of your neighbours.

Checking that you’ve got a working smoke alarm is one of the most important things you can do to be fire safe. You should test your smoke alarm regularly to make sure it’s working and can alert you in case of a fire. If it’s not working, please contact us and we will get it fixed for you.

No BBQs are to be used on balconies at any time. This is important, as they create a significant fire risk. Be careful when putting out cigarettes, by disposing of all smoking materials properly. You can do this by making sure the materials are out, cold and preferably wet before throwing them away.
