Following the success of last year, we are once again inviting the community to join in a live re-enactment of the nativity scene on Hallfield estate, Paddington.

The scene will be played by actors, supported by real animals provided by Vauxhall City Farm, but onlookers are welcome to join in! Organised by St James’s Church, Sussex Gardens, and hosted by the west area housing team, the event will celebrate the importance of the nativity in a fun and accessible way for all ages to enjoy.

There will also be carol singing with a brass quartet, refreshments and lighting of the Christmas tree.

Date: Wednesday 11 December 2019, 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Venue: The green, Hallfield estate near Pickering House, W2 6HF.

Other Christmas events being held across estates in Westminster include Ebury Lights, an eight-day pop up extravaganza, which will feature a Christmas market, festive food, drink and crafts, temporary ice rink and plenty of family fun!

Ebury Lights will celebrate the local community and follows the successful ‘Beach at the Bridge’ pop-up event in August 2019. Over 500 visitors enjoyed the temporary sandpit and seaside-themed games during the summer months and we again welcome crowds to our winter festival.

Date: Thursday – Sunday, 5 - 8 December 2019, 4pm – 9pm and Thursday – Sunday, 12 - 15 December 2019, 4pm – 8pm
Venue: Ebury Bridge estate, Ebury Bridge Road, SW1W 8QX.
