We’re focused on creating an even better environment for the businesses in our borough to thrive and meet the changing needs of our residents.

To do that, we recognise that we have a big part to play – which is why we are conducting research among local firms so we – and the council’s partners – can help businesses overcome any challenges they face.

The deadline for our business survey, which is central to our research, has been extended until Thursday 31 January 2019. It’s a valuable opportunity for businesses to tell us about any problems experienced with issues such as recruitment and employment.

Westminster City Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Education and Community, Councillor David Harvey said:

“Westminster is an amazing place to set up a business. We want to hear from businesses about how we can help to make life better and improve their chances of growth.

“We want as many of our businesses as possible to complete this survey, as it’ll give us important feedback on any difficulties they may be facing, and how they’re trying to overcome these. The survey results will be key in shaping our strategy for businesses over the next year.”

Visit http://bit.ly/wccbusinesssurvey to complete the survey.

The survey is being conducted by ComRes, an independent research agency, on behalf of the council. In accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, all data will be treated confidentially, stored securely and adhere to the Data Protection Act, and any identifying data will not be shared beyond ComRes and Westminster City Council.

The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete, depending on your answers.

As a ‘thank you’ for completing the survey, you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £50 vouchers for a top Westminster restaurant.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Phoebe Weller, Project Manager at ComRes Global phoebe.weller@comresglobal.com. If you would like to verify this research, please contact Simone Elliott, Programme Manager at Westminster Employment Service selliott1@westminster.gov.uk.
