We are supporting the police with their response to the unexploded bomb found on Dean Street in Soho this afternoon.

The initial cordon has now been reduced but a number of road closures remain in place and many people have been evacuated. Our staff are contacting vulnerable residents who may have been affected and our city inspectors are on hand to provide assistance to members of the public.

We advise people evacuated to seek alternative accommodation through family and friends. However, if that is not possible, a reception centre has been set up at the Marshall Street Leisure Centre for those unable to access their home. Please call 0207 641 2000 for advice.
