The project

The council has planning permission to redevelop Torridon House Car Park in Maida Vale ward.

This project will deliver:

  • 21 new affordable homes, with a mix of social rent and intermediate rents
  • a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes, many will be family sized
  • landscaping improvements
  • 34 extra cycle parking spaces
  • homes that will be offered to local people first through a Local Lettings Plan

We are working with our construction partner Osborne who will begin the main construction in Summer 2021. The project is due to be completed in early 2023.

This project is part of the council’s Infill Programme, which turns underutilised spaces throughout Westminster into much needed affordable homes.

Planning Application

The council consulted extensively with the local community and received planning permission in October 2020.
