Stream council meetings

We want you to be able to follow and take part in the democratic decisions that affect you in Westminster.

We understand that not everyone is able to attend council meetings in person, which is why we’re broadcasting videos of key meetings so that you can watch them online at any time, from anywhere.

Virtual meetings during coronavirus pandemic

All committee meetings open to the public are being broadcast live using Microsoft Teams and recorded.

To access the live broadcast for a meeting please visit the published committee agenda and select the event link. The recording of the broadcast can be accessed by the same link after the meeting.

Licensing meetings

All applicants, responsible authorities and interested parties involved in any application will automatically be sent an invite to the hearing with instructions on how to attend the meeting virtually.

This will include guides on how to download and set up the software and the meeting invites and passwords needed to attend.

Planning meetings

Members of the public and interested parties are welcome to address the virtual committee. Find out more about speaking at planning committees

Live streaming under normal circumstances

Some meetings will be shown live, and in time you’ll be able to browse the archive to watch meetings from the past 12 months.

Our webcast videos will be available with both sound with subtitles, and you’ll be able to skip to the specific agenda items and speakers that interest you the most.

Planning committee meetings will be the first meetings to be streamed online. We hope to add further meetings such as licensing committees at a later date.
