Eat Local - Eat Out to Help Out extensions

You can support local pubs and restaurants that reopened after lockdown by enjoying meals and drinks in Westminster’s unique and exciting atmosphere.

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which originally ran from 3 to 31 August 2020, has been extended in some Westminster venues throughout September. The scheme enables you to get up to 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a total value of £10 per person (Mon - Wed), if you eat or drink in.

Eat Out to Help Out and support the hospitality industry at the same time.

To protect yourself and others, please follow the safety measures put in place. Remember to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Shops in your area

We have created a new interactive map for residents and others to quickly and easily find out what shops are open for business in your local area.

The map shows the location of shops and businesses in your neighbourhood that are either physically open, or offering online services. It also shows the kinds of service they offer, opening hours, and how you can get in touch with them.

We will continually update and expand the list of businesses open in the Westminster area.

Visiting local shops

Please remember to follow the government advice on social distancing when going outside and visiting your local shops. This includes:

  • stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
  • wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • if you cannot social distance in a shop and you’re likely to come into contact with people you don’t normally meet, wearing a face covering is recommended

Businesses - sign up

If you represent a business and would like us to promote your contact details and services on these pages, please complete this form.

We initially want to focus on retail, food and hospitality businesses offering take-away services. We are particularly keen to hear from those that are currently open, operating and delivering from local high streets and neighbourhoods. Our primary focus is on ensuring the safety of our community. Every business taking part will need to set out the measures that they are taking to ensure compliance with all social distancing rules.

If you need to provide an update on information shown on the list or map, or to get in contact with us for any other reason, please email us at tojo@westminster.gov.uk.
