Seymour Leisure Centre Consultation

As part of the refurbishment of the Seymour Leisure centre,  Everyone Active and Westminster City Council are consulting on a variety of potential changes for the site. These changes are funded by £1.6 million worth of investment. These changes will seek to enhance the leisure centre, including a new Hot Yoga studio and potentially provide a number of other services improvements. The consultation will run between Monday 13 March and Sunday 9 April.

Proposed changes at Seymour Leisure Centre

  • expanding the gym space through a conversion of studio room 1 on the ground floor
  • creating a new exercise studio at basement level through the conversion of existing space
  • creating a new Hot Yoga studio on the first floor level located in the underutilised conference room
  • converting the existing small gym into a new group cycling studio on the first floor
  • refurbishing the Health Suite including new heated hot beds
  • refurbishing the changing rooms including new showers, lockers and cubicles
