Seymour Leisure Centre Consultation

As part of the refurbishment of the Seymour Leisure centre,  Everyone Active and Westminster City Council are considering a variety of potential changes for the site.

These changes are funded by £1.6 million worth of investment; they will seek to enhance the leisure centre and potentially provide a number of other service improvements. A consultation progress ran between Monday 13 March and Sunday 9 April.

Proposed changes at Seymour Leisure Centre

  • expanding the gym space through a conversion of studio room 1 on the ground floor
  • creating a new exercise studio at basement level through the conversion of existing space
  • converting the existing small gym into a new group cycling studio on the first floor
  • refurbishing the health suite, including new heated hot beds
  • refurbishing the changing rooms, including new showers, lockers and cubicles

Next steps

Everyone Active and Westminster City Council are currently collating the feedback collected as part of the consultation process. This will be considered before finalising any proposal for the investment at Seymour Leisure Centre.
