Safer Neighbourhood Board

The Westminster Safer Neighbourhood Board gives local people a greater voice in setting policing priorities in their area and holds the police to account for their performance.

Introduced by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) there will now be such a board in every London borough.

The Board's vision is to improve consultation between the community and the police to achieve a safer and more peaceful community within Westminster.

The Board is made up of local people, Councillors, representatives from the business and victim services sector and youth representatives, all from diverse backgrounds. Through this strong community representation and effective dialogue the Board supports the police to provide the best possible experience of policing in Westminster.

Views on policing, including ideas on how it can improve are welcome from all within Westminster. Please email with your views and ideas.

Please note we do not deal with individual complaints against the police.

Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch is about being part of a community team whose members work to protect each other from crime and anti-social behaviour and work to improve the quality of life in their area, ensuring everyone in their community can feel safe.
