On Saturday 1 - Sunday 2 August, roads in central London will be closed for the Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling. There will be extensive road closures in place as 95,000 cyclists come to London to take part in five separate events on traffic-free roads including FreeCycle, the Grand Prix and the London-Surrey 100.
On Saturday 1 August there will be road closures in the City of Westminster from 5am until around 7pm with Waterloo Bridge closed. Buses will also be on diversion and parking suspensions in place.
On Sunday 2 August there will be road closures in place from 5am in the City of Westminster. From around 10.30am roads along the outward event route in London will be opened once the event has passed and it is safe to do so, with all London roads, including the inbound route expected to be open by 8pm. The Mall will re-open on Monday 3 August at 6am.
