Remembrance Sunday 2023

Find out how we marked Remembrance Sunday this year.

Over the 11 and 12 November, we paid our respects and reflected on the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.

The Lord Mayor and the Leader of the Council were joined by representatives from the armed forces at several events leading up to Remembrance Day, including a wreath laying ceremony at Westminster City Hall.

On Saturday 11 November, The Lord Mayor visited the West London Synagogue for a Remembrance Shabbat Service and joined the War Widows Association at the Cenotaph as well as a number of other events.
