In September 2019, Westminster Employment Service's hosted a job fair which was reported as the highest attendance of guests that City Hall has ever had in the building to date with around 200 people in attendance, including 79 Westminster residents.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Nickie Aiken, described the event as “so impressive, a fantastic buzz.”

Applicants were put through several tasks to gage their strengths and weaknesses. Although it was an extremely competitive and rigorous assessment day, it was a major achievement for those who were successful as there was so much interest with so few vacancies.

15 applicants were successful in securing a place at Westminster City Council as an apprentice in the business Administration Level 3 role. Out of the 15 successful candidates 10 are Westminster residents, taking the council closer to it's target of creating a City for All.
