Primary and early years first teaching posts

For primary and early years first teaching posts you can apply to the central pool database for posts suitable for NQTs starting in September 2017. Successful applications will be made available to schools in Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea, according to the applicant’s preferences.

Newly qualified teachers or teachers due to qualify with QTS this academic year are invited to apply to the pool which will close on the 6 March 2017. Applications which meet the selection criteria will be shortlisted and made available to schools who will then invite suitable candidates for interview according to the school’s requirements.

Acceptance to the pool does not guarantee employment. All offers of employment will be made by the individual school and will be dependent on accurate information being provided, the award of QTS, satisfactory checks and references.

First Appointment application form (DOC, 156KB)
Guidance notes (PDF, 104KB)

Applications should be completed electronically and sent as an email attachment to nqtadmin@rbkc.gov.uk
