In 2017 planning approval was given for a new development to deliver 60 new homes, of which 19 are affordable, by summer 2021 on the Hall Place estate.
The new homes will be part of the council’s goal to deliver 1850 new affordable homes by 2023.

The development is set to be completed by Spring 2021.
As part of the development we are investing in improvements to the Parsons House lobby, entrance and residents’ room. In addition, we will be improving the landscaping in front of Parsons House for the benefit of all residents and the local community.

Section 105 of the Housing Act (1985) requires the council to consult specifically with secure tenants where development or housing management proposals include new programmes of maintenance, improvement or demolition or a change in the landlord’s practice or policy that are likely to affect secure tenants. We are therefore providing secure tenants with an additional opportunity to provide feedback by Thursday 12 March 2020.
