In 2017 planning approval was given for a new development on the Hall Place estate which will give a mixed development adding to the council’s goal of delivering 1850 new affordable homes by 2023.
The estate is located on Edgware Road, built in the 1960s with a range of low rise flats and maisonettes and a tower block, Parsons House. Adjacent to Parsons House is an underused garage site which has been identified as an opportunity to provide a mixture of 19 new affordable homes and 41 homes for sale, retail space, new car parking facilities (54 spaces), environmental works and works to Parsons House.
The development is set to be completed by Spring 2021.
